Project overview
Initiated by Mekong Institute, Carbon Smart Growth (CSG) is supporting a study aimed at assessing the challenges and capacities of SMEs in Mekong region and develop avenues to facilitate private sector’s transition and adopt Environment Social and Governance (ESG) principles to work towards sustainable growth and decarbonization in the region. CSG will conduct thorough desk reviews, key informant interviews and surveys to assess more than 150 SMEs in automotive, textiles, agriculture, and food processing sectors in Mekong region on their ESG performance and will provide Avenues for SMEs to Enhance Capacity and Improve ESG Performance. CSG will also design and deliver ESG training curriculum for SMEs.
